The subscription will be available directly from the Portal from Monday, 30 March 2026. You can follow the link that will pop up when you try to access material and this will then direct you to a Payfast page where you can make payment with your credit or debit card. This is completely secure and you will be able to manage your subscription from your Payfast account. You will receive confirmation of payment directly from Payfast should you need to query anything or need to maintain a financial record.

For subscribers signing up by 30 April 2026 the fee will be R517.50. Thereafter (1 May 2026 onward) it will be R575.00 until further notice.

The recurring amount in 2027 will be R575.00 but is subject to change. Should the fee change, it will be communicated well in advance.

This cost includes VAT and translates to approximately R15.00 per session available.

We are working on making InstantEFT an option when subscribing on the Portal, but for now there is an option to pay via EFT by following this link: Make payment - PTCMA

Please select the HCP option and fill in your details accordingly. When submitting, you will be redirected to a page where you can select your method of payment. Select the Instant EFT option, then you will be redirected to your bank page to make payment.

Please note that this is a manual process and will not immediately subscribe you. Once payment has been received and it was confirmed that you are a practicing healthcare professional, we will manually add you to the subscriber list.

Retired healthcare practitioners are very welcome to subscribe. Our fee is currently discounted already and the same fee will apply for all.

The subscription is open to any and all healthcare practitioners that engage with patients directly, including nurses, pharmacists, clinicians, occupational and physical therapists, specialists, etc. working in private practice, public practice, hospitals, pharmacies, etc. Excluded are any qualified healthcare workers that are no longer in active practice, including those working at pharmaceutical, medtech or funding companies, as these will fall under the PTCMA Membership options.

The PTCMA had an agreement with SAMA that has expired. There will no longer be free access to the PTCMA programmes for anyone - all users will either need to subscribe or be an employee of a PTCMA Member company.
